Come è noto questo progetto ha avuto come obiettivo l’allestimento e la donazione di una unità mobile per lo screening dei tumori della mammella e del collo dell’utero ed è stato sviluppato con il contributo del Rotary club Pisa Galilei durante l’annata rotariana 2020-2021. Il progetto è relativo a un “global grant” per una partnership internazionale con il Rotary club di Secunderabad West India, Distretto 3150.
Come indicato dal messaggio inviato da Suren Poruri i risultati del progetto sono molto positivi ed hanno consentito la diagnosi precoce di numerosi tumori femminili:

of your support, we were able to launch the Mobile cancer screening bus successfully 6 months back. Since then it's been running successfully. So far 50 cancer screening camps have been conducted in the last 6 months. The attached excel has a list of the camps conducted and suspected cases identified are given. close to 100 people with early stage cancer symptoms are identified. It means we were able to save the lives of 100 people so far. Few photos of cancer screening bus is also attached for your reference. Once again thanks a lot for your support. Let us work together on more such noble initiatives
